Bobby wasn't sure how much time had passed before they were back on the mainland. They rode the ferry before the man brought them out. He also brought out another donkey from a coral. The donkey had beautiful reddish brown fur. Its scent told Bobby that it was female. He'd looked to make sure that the knowledge he now possessed was truthful. While looking felt rude, Bobby knew that she (or anyone) could do the same to him. He wondered if she was a natural donkey or some boy that by happenstance became female. Her scent was familiar. Bobby was certain he'd caught wind of a similar scent when he was in that line with the other donkeys. Bobb
