Fox with a side of BearHuman desires often tend to form a paradox. In winter, we desire warmer temperatures. In summer, we turn on our air conditioners, go for a swim, take cold showers and embark on other activities in order to cool down.
It was such a day late one Friday afternoon.
An arduous week both work and temperature wise was ending. Ryan and Mike young men and friends for years -- needed a temporary escape from telephones, computers, traffic and other aspects of modern life.
A state park forty-five minute's drive from their homes seemed an ideal place to achieve that escape. It was quiet and peaceful. Its large forest promised shelter from the sun.
Perhaps they didn't seek an escape from all conveniences. They listened to the radio and talked on their way to pass the time.
The radio started playing static for several seconds half way through the trip. A different song played when the static cleared.
The song advertised a nearby roadside diner that served a variety of dishes. Neither Mike nor
It needs a little -- skunk? 2The next day greeted Jordan. Sunlight streamed and a pleasant breeze blew through the window.
Jordan's sluggish mind kept the memories of his physical changes in a fog.
He sat up and blinked at the sight of the new room that greeted him.
Some of the fog lifted, letting Jordan remember that this wasn't a new room per say but his new room.
The vision the mirror across from his bed reflected of a humanoid female skunk sitting up his bed wearing what looked like overalls, gave Jordan a sudden awareness of the extra weight on his chest.
Jordan blinked and then chuckled when he realized that everything that happened the previous day was real.
"Who dressed me in overalls anyway?" Jordan asked.
A scream from Vick's room had Jordan bolting out of the bed and rushing over. What he saw when he got into the room was Vick standing beside his bed wearing a white dress.
"Why am I wearing a dress?" Vick cried. "This doesn't mean I've become a girl too does it?"
"Only one way to find out," Jordan said.
It needs a little -- skunk? 1It was the deal of a lifetime. A deal that Jordan, a young man just out of college and in need of a place to live couldn't resist.
He'd found a house used but in good condition for the sort of price one would expect of a house half its size. It had four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a finished basement and even a hot tub.
The house needed some work. Nothing obvious however, explained the deal. Jordan was concerned but the seller assured him that nothing was wrong. The seller even had several people go through the house to make sure everything was fine.
In the end, there was too much going for the house to refuse. It was close to the house in which he grew up he could walk there in under an hour as well almost within walking distance of his new job and other conveniences.
There was one catch; Jordan's younger brother Vick came as part of the deal.
Jordan and Vick got along well enough. The house was more then big enough for the two of them. Vick didn'
Lake GracefulLake Graceful, a name that could evoke images of peace, long evenings spent on a boat enjoying gentle waves, nights spent gazing at the stars or a peaceful afternoon swim. Brothers Steve and Vick were doing the later on one late summer afternoon.
Steve was twelve and not looking forward to the beginning of another school year. The routine that gripped him every year was in full swing. Hed get depressed at the end of the summer; school would start and wouldnt be so bad once Steve made it past the initial awkward few weeks of readjusting his routine.
Vick was twenty-two. This fall was the first fall that Vick wasnt returning to school. He had a job was only tolerable but did afford him an apartment and still allowed occasional fun. Hed taken Steve to the lake for an afternoon of swimming to help rid of the boys mind of worries of school starting.
It wasnt working.
Steve wished hed cut his hair shorter as they left the water. Shoulder length hair
Parenting for Sex AddictsThe half-day.
We are not those folks that need an occasion to try. And that’s what they call it, too. Trying. As if the very idea of it is taxing. It’s not taxing and we are not those people.
No. We do not go by some magical calendar. Schedules aren’t really our thing in general. That’d be too organized. Too stuffy. Too… I don’t know… too planned. And we’re not the type of people whom plan.
If we could—plan—our lives would be much different. I think. It’s hard to say because this is how we’ve always been.
Our very togetherness is a result of impulse. I’m almost certain that the amount of time it took us to decide to move in together was significantly shorter than the amount of time it took us to remember each other’s names. We might have had our first conversation moments after that first… what I mean to say is we didn’t plan. Because planning would have been much t
