Kyle had devised the perfect project for his biology class. His invention could restore cells to an earlier state; in effect, it would make them younger. He'd toiled on it for months, keeping it secret from everyone.

Otter Lake -Edited-Friday, the day anticipated by people from all occupations. After an arduous workweek, Jake was exhausted and needed an escape. He’d booked the next week off for a much-needed vacation. His family had a cabin in the woods that they owned via a timeshare and Jake couldn’t think of a better place to escape.

Countless other donkeys that used to be boys were still out there. That for some it could be too late and that any humanity they’d retained had long since vanished saddened Lampwick.

The donkeys before Lampwick weren’t changing back into boys. However, amidst the brays, Lampwick heard a few words that soon grew into several words and expanded.

The words were a beacon in a world shrouded by fog.

Was there a way out? Lampwick didn’t care where the other boys had gone, he just wanted to reverse this and get out of there. He ran out of the pool hall with no destination. At that moment, the panic was all he knew.

Fatigue soon stopped Lampwick. His mind cleared. He noticed his surroundings.

Oops, hit reply by accident. Meant to say that considering they seem to stop going to school at 10 years old to have what a lot see as fun, with the Pinocchio rules, I could see this happening to a lot of those kids. Not that the Ponytas or Rapidashs would mind.
